Cloud Data Engineer – Snowflake

Job description:

• Work on projects, creating user application design and scripting data-transformation processes in ETL as required
• implement proposed concepts (data streaming, migration of data from client source systems to the cloud, leveraging ETL and/or real-time streaming or APIs) into Snowflake/other cloud database
• collaborate on analyzing clients' needs and understanding their data sources, their data structures, etc. Client communication
• create and present prototypes and demo applications in Qlik Sense and related tools
• create the optimal raw-to-ready data concept in the context of the client's needs, their "data landscape", and our technology capabilities (Qlik Sense, Snowflake, Qlik Replicate/Compose, Qlik Sense)

Professional requirements:

• Experience with SQL databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL or similar)
• experience with any ETL tool (e.g. Keboola, Azure DataFactory, AWS Glue, Alteryx, ...)
• experience with data migration or integration projects
• experience with BI tools (Qlik Sense, PowerBI), controlling/reporting
• knowledge of javascript, JAVA, C#, Python or other programming language
• English language - advanced - both written and verbal
• knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, etc.

Salary:

• full-time employment
• possibility to work on TPP also in the form of contractor cooperation (trade license/s.r.o.)
• Depending on seniority 3200 EUR + variable component (quarterly bonuses) depending on the knowledge, qualification and motivation of the candidate
